We found no WMDs... heh... 2,300 Americans dead. Haha... How hilarious...
I am afraid to say that I have Joe as my own Senator. Ned Lamont won't win the primary, but hopefully he will send a message that Joe has to be careful about for whom he throws his support.
To Will: The lies of George Bush about WMDs are not a matter for kidding around. At this particular Press dinner the Bushies provided video of the President poking around the White House. The deaths of several thousand of our soldiers is not a matter for fun. Don't you get that ?
To Richard: You may have noticed that Joe is cracking up (in public) lately, on talk shows and such that question his alignment with so many Republican talking points.
The problem is that overall, Connecticut Democrats tend to be more conservative than other Democrats and CT Republicans often (but not always ala Will and Peter) tend to be more liberal than other Republicans. Joe is in the mushy middle, leaning conservative. Thus, he does well in Connecticut. A liberal Democrat running against a centre-right Democrat tend to do poorly in our state.
