KBR, the Halliburton subsidiary has ,as of September 1st, been granted 500 million dollars to make repairs to naval facilities damaged by Katrina. To me, this announcement seems a shameless, indecorously fast move to reward your base in the face of tragedy. This is done at time when their former CEO Dick Cheney is missing in action or perhaps on vacation, no one seems to know where.
