Biblical Prophecy

A quote from the Bible (Daniel 5: 25-31) appropriate for President Bush and Tuesday's election gains for the Democrats. In the lion's den, Daniel received the word of God inscribed on the wall - MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN. I see these words directed to George W. Bush:

MENE means "God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end"

TEKEL means "You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting"

PARSIN means "Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians"

Daniel was delivered from the lion's den and dressed in finery. And President Bush is stuck with those darn Persians.
