Iyman Faris

For all the thousands of warrantless, illegal wiretaps the NSA made, the only al Qaeda terrorist they've caught (that we know about) is Iyman Faris. This man was apparently in contact with terrorists about a plan to sever the cables of the Brooklyn Bridge with a gas torch to cause it to fall. Intelligence was tracking him, so the authorities posted a police car at either end of the bridge. End of plan. The bridge was too hot for Faris.

If this was the sum total of all this illegal intelligence, it doesn't seem worth breaking the FISA laws.
