That Isn't Right

Sgt. Eddie Rebrook, one of our soldiers, was wounded in battle in Iraq, and as he bled the medic ripped off his body armor. Sgt. Rebrook tells us that his body armor was burned up and destroyed as a biohazrd. So he never got the armor back, but now, in order to be promptly discharged for his injuries, he is expected to pay $700 out of his pocket for the missing equipment (or else wait who knows how long to be released from his commitment). This thankless kind of treatment is abusive and insulting. Rebrook's mother said,"It’s outrageous, ridiculous and unconscionable.I wanted to stand on a street corner and yell through a megaphone about this." I agree with her.

They think this hero owes them money also,it seems to be a vicious cycle they go and fight for their country and this is the thanks they get.I did a post on the link above entitled;the treatment of heroes,I linked it to your article. It is a disgrace how they treat us after risking our lives,America should hang her head in shame.

They need to quit beating around the bush and just start charging the soldiers for every bullet they take out of thier a$$. When I first read about this I was steaming.
