Poll Numbers

In one year, President Bush's approval numbers have dropped 20 points. The new CBS poll has him at 34% and Dick Cheney at 18%. Particularly upsetting to Republicans are this poll's numbers on National Security; Bush is at 41%, and the Dems have passed him at 43%. This is all so interesting when one considers the memory of Bill Clinton - the week he was impeached by Washington, the country rated him at 60% approval for the job he was doing.

Poor guy. I bet he cries himself to sleep at night. But at last, as many others have noted, he is living up to his vision of himself as 'the Great Uniter'.

Bush is loathed by Democrats and is becoming increasingly disliked by Republicans. Many fear that Bush is soiling their chances in 2006 and 2008, and thus, they want to distant themselves from him. It is only his crazy demi-god worshippers who actually are around to say that he is doing a swell job.

yes, they are liberal, who ever voted they are conservative on my poll is just an idiot. they are killing the president's image. they are also why clinton was still at 60% when he was impeached. CNN stands for CLinton News Network, and that cannot be denied."

Why do you guys listen to this troll?

-Bush I believe has killed, buried, and grave-robbed his own image.
-It's very easy to deny CNN stands for the Clinton News Network..because it doesn't
- You really want to see who controls the media, look at the executive ownership and near monopolies present in today's media. Last time I checked Murdoch isn't a lib. The media isn't liberal just because you say it is...

Shouldn't you be out there fighting Bush's holy war?

presidents during a war like this are going to have a low approval rating.
You're right, especially when the war was based on a lie.
