Self-Parody

When looking around the web, I sometimes read Ankle Biting Pundits. I've always found it amusing that they have an award for the biggest buffoon of the week, called the Elihu Smails Award. Smails is Judge Smails as played by Ted Knight in Caddyshack. It's funny, because these pundits don't seem to realize that they are ridiculing their own base, the fatuous, elite Republican head of the country club.
